Being alive means being creative. We are makers. Arts and design are means to consciously co-create the world, to re-visit and question present systems, to propose new solutions and to offer community participation. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to spent years learning, teaching, celebrating (and also fighting for) education in arts and design worldwide. We assume, as a reader of this book, the HGK publication 2020 on future sense, you have your own reasons to be interested in and moved by education in arts and design.
