Two possible approaches to the question: Who am I?
What we can learn from a one-hundred-year-old quote "Actually I'm quite different. But I so rarely have time to show it." about identity.
Journaling prompts to feel better…
Use your journal to support self-love. Stop repeating self-loathe. I have a journaling routine since I am 14 years old. But it took me a long time, before I actually understood how to use writing in my own favor.
Growing at work, growing in life
A plea for personal development and quality of life at work
I do not understand the concept of «work-life-balance». 9–5 work and 5–9 life?
Your questions to finally nail THE must-have of 2021: Your purpose.
Nobody wants a house, a car, a yacht anymore.
Mindfulness and Meditation — Self-Care and Being Digital in the Arts
Do you also feel drained from all the input you are supposed to deliver, and all the output of others you consume? How does this affect your creativity?
On realizing your life’s leitmotif
As children of the 21st century, we might feel pressure and urgency to realize our selves: We are supposed to live our dreams, our passions, be authentic, and super successful. All at the same time. And, as kid of the 21stcentury, you might answer: “Why not? I want it all. I want it now.”
Escaping Oscillation

A, B, C, ?
You think you had a plan. A very specific goal. You know exactly where you're going. You're ready to take off at position “A” and you're sure where you'll end up, namely at “B”. But then, on the way, you're suddenly not so sure anymore.
American Gorillas
My American self tells me that everything is possible I just have to go for it.
On nature
Lately I have become interested in the variety of conceptions of nature. When I think of nature, two different kinds of images come to mind. On the one hand, there are the images in the news that show us plastic filled oceans, burning forests, and severe storms. On the other hand, there are all the social media pictures of sunsets, sandy beaches, and flowers.
Pose, Breath and Drishti
I have never had the chance to practice with late K Patthabi Jois. But there is one of his teachings I continue to come back to on and off my yoga mat: “Pose, Breath, Drishti” (drishti = focused gaze).
On mountains and magic
There is this quote that has been on my mind for a while: “What You Can Do, or Dream You Can, Begin It; Boldness Has Genius, Power, and Magic in It.”
On being in the flow
One of my favourite art works is Olafur Eliasson's Green River Project (1998-2001). Olafur Eliasson and his assistants dyed waterways in Bremen, Stockholm, Los Angeles and Tokyo and rivers in other cities green with uranine, a non-toxic water-soluble dye.
The beauty of repetition
Currently I am researching learning methods and theories to understand learning in arts and design practices. I am wondering what different methods are out there and if one could exchange different learning practices to learn even more in different disciplines.
7th series
Currently I am on vacation. I am a dedicated yogi, so I try to keep up my six times a week Ashtanga practice. But I allow myself to sleep in. I start my practice whenever I wake up. So far so good.
